I trained at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships (TCCR) in London, a world leading centre for research and training in working with the couple relationship. As well as private practice, I work at the TCCR as a Visiting Clinician and Visiting Clinician in Assessment.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a Full Member of the British Society of Couple Psychotherapists and Counsellors (BSCPC). As a member of BACP and BSCPC I am bound by their codes of ethics in my practice.
I have worked in Adult (18+) Social Care for over 20 years, engaging successfully with, in no particular order, the homeless, ex-offenders, minority ethnic groups including immigrants and asylum seekers, speakers of English as a second language and members of the LGBT communities. I am experienced too in working with alcohol and/or substance misuse and dependency as well as serious and enduring physical illness or disability, life limiting illness and both episodic and enduring psychiatric illness.
